ProfileContract Attorney The candidate will join a non-profit legal services organization providing immigration legal services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and will be assisting Special Immigrant Juveniles Status cases (SIJS) in family court. The candidate will also be responsible for interviewing and assisting victims, and drafting written work products in the area of SIJS; representing immigrant children in uncontested custody hearings in family court. mastering substantive areas of immigration law as it applies to helping our SIJS cases. The candidate should be recent law school graduates and must be licensed to practice law in any one the jurisdictions: DC, MD and/or VA preferably should have Spanish language skills.
