Immigration Attorney The candidate will focus on immigration, domestic violence and family law matters. Will be responsible for representing survivors of domestic violence with their immigration petitions (U, T Visas and VAWA) and provide assistance in family law disputes and at restraining order hearings. Frequent travel to other branch offices, courts, government agencies, shelters and community-based organizations throughout southern California is required. License to practice law in California with 4+ years of experience in immigration law and/or defending victims of domestic violence required. Demonstrated passion and commitment to public interest law and prior experience serving low-income individuals and client groups, with a sensitivity to those in crisis required. Strong research and organizational skills; the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing; and well developed analytical skills required. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
