ProfileWashington, D.C. office of our client seeks healthcare attorney with 3-5 years of transactional and regulatory experience. The candidate will be advising health care clients in the areas of business strategy and transactions, fraud and abuse protection, and regulatory compliance. Will be assisting health care organizations with the investigation of potential fraud, waste, or abuse issues. Advising health care providers and plans with respect to physician contracting, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, Stark and Anti-Kickback Statute compliance, HIPAA compliance, and corporate governance and tax exemption issues. Advising Medicare Advantage, Part D and Medicaid managed care organizations on a wide range of regulatory, compliance, audit, and enforcement matters. Advising on legislative and other policy developments in the health care area. Should have relevant health care regulatory and/or corporate work experience, including prior experience with hospitals, health care insurers, managed care plans, accountable care organizations, health care information technology and data, Medicare and Medicaid, and/or other federal and state health care regulatory issues. Should be licensed or eligible to practice law in Washington, DC and be in good standing.
