Senior Manager Medicare Program The candidate will be directing and coordinating efforts to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and policies around company’s Group and Individual Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D and Medicare Supplement business. Will be responsible for the development and the implementation of the system of controls to monitor and oversee the performance of the Plan’s Medicare operations, business units and delegated entities in accordance with CMS and other “Best Practice†performance requirements. Additionally, this position will collaborate with internal and external business partners to provide guidance and recommendations around the development, maintenance and enhancements of Medicare programs, products and services.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience with managed care or compliance, auditing, government contracting or related health insurance experience. Law degree and Master’s degree is desired. Certified Internal Auditor certification is preferred. Must have 6 years experience with Medicare, Medicaid or other regulated health products. Should have 4 years’ leadership / management experience. Must have strong knowledge of health care regulatory and legislative process; ability to read and interpret legislation. Should have experience in a position that required analytical, organizational / planning skills. Must have excellent concise verbal / written /executive presentation communication skills. Should have executive presence with the ability to influence inside and outside company. Experience working independently and responding to rapidly changing priorities are needed. Experience in working in a matrix organization across multiple geographic areas is needed. Experience working in Government is preferred.
