Healthcare In-House Attorney The candidate will provide comprehensive legal support for the healthcare business, including healthcare regulatory compliance, commercial contracts, employment matters, records privacy and retention, corporate governance and communications, entity management, and clinical operations. Will coordinate, implement and enforce policies and procedures, and remediate issues with other support departments such as HR, Compliance, Finance, and IT, as appropriate. Support risk management activities including development and enhancement of legal and compliance policies, procedures, and practices as well as related training and communications; anticipate and address legal impact of emerging trends and changes to the legal and regulatory landscape; provide practical legal advice to ensure adherence to applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Should have JD degree with a strong academic record. Should have 3+ years of attorney experience in relevant fields. 3+ years relevant healthcare industry experience is preferred. Should have skill in CMS (Medicare, Medicaid), OIG and other healthcare compliance regulations and program, HIPAA and related privacy, fraud and abuse rules and regulations, Healthcare operations, particularly those related to medical record documentation, data security, disclosure of protected health information, and clinical practice management, Healthcare reimbursement regulations and Corporate governance, commercial contracting and services agreements.
