Attorney/Legal Editor Duties: Provide consultation on employment law matters, including FMLA, Title VII, ADAAA, FLSA, and the Affordable Care Act. Investigate and submit position statements for EEOC charges of discrimination, or other administrative complaints. Draft, file, and manage all employment-based work visas, such as H-1B visas. Manage and update all employee handbooks and on-boarding paperwork. Manage employment litigation with outside counsel. Reviewing all legal documents and contracts of the company and ensuring that the terms and conditions are in favor of the company while being fair to the other party. Provide consultation on payroll laws in all 50 states Research miscellaneous legal matters as needed Assist with the development, implementation and updating of legal policies, procedures and practices in coordination with senior leadership. Research and assist in developing compliance programs for state/federal compliance requirements and regulations.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree from American Bar Association accredited law school.
