Director, Referral Source Compliance Program The candidate will lead oversight of company’s referral source compliance program, and has accountability for the program’s effective design and execution. This position is responsible for maintaining a program for the enterprise that promotes understanding of, and compliance with, Federal and State laws and regulations that pertain to company’s interactions with actual or potential referral sources. Review of existing policies and, in coordination with the Law Department and Audit Services, development and revision of policies as needed to promote compliance. Handle oversight to ensure effective monitoring and auditing functions designed to confirm compliance with applicable policies. In coordination with the Law Department, development and delivery of appropriate training programs to promote understanding of relevant requirements to company’s business operators. In coordination with Audit Services, assesses audit work plans and areas of focus to ensure they are appropriately focused and tailored. Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant in the areas of referral source arrangements for internal constituents. Handle analysis of data produced from Compliance risk assessments, as well as other sources, to identify potential areas of risk. Develop data analytics to detect flags and trends for follow-up involving potential noncompliance in arrangements with referral sources. Handle periodic review of data and risks with/for Tenet’s compliance governance committees and other stakeholders. Juris Doctorate or Master’s degree in a related field and 7 – 10 years of referral source experience as an auditor, lawyer, compliance professional, auditor or consultant required. Demonstrated leadership skills and collaborative experience required. Experience: developing and operating a compliance program; with data and data analytics preferred. An understanding of compliance program elements, and applicable laws (including, but not limited to the Stark law and the Anti-kickback Statute), regulations and industry leading practices involving referral source arrangements required.
