Administrative Hearing Attorney The candidate will be part of the Medicaid legal team. Represents Care Plan in administrative proceedings related to member appeals/grievances and provider claim disputes. Represents Plan in administrative proceedings related to member appeals and provider claim disputes. Apply legal knowledge to cases at hearing (and rehearing) level, including, but not limited to, preparing and drafting memorandum, answers and motions; conducting legal research; preparing expert witness testimony and conducting staffings; and preparing exhibits for hearing. Will conduct settlement negotiations with opposing counsel or parties and draft settlement agreements. Will work with staff and other Medicaid legal paralegals and attorneys.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree. Legal/State Bar Of Arizona required. Must be a licensed attorney, in good standing, in the State of Arizona. 3+ years experience representing parties in litigation or other administrative hearing proceedings. 4+ years experience as a practicing attorney. Experience in government health care preferred. Strong litigation experience, looking for a team environment and opportunities to expand your knowledge and legal experience in healthcare and government health arena.
