Associate Attorney Duties: Will assist with litigation, health insurance administrative appeals, and revenue collection. Will undertake research, review standard documents and routine contracts, and prepare routine filings. Will also develop case strategy by predicting how law applies to client's situation, identifying and evaluating legal options, preparing briefs and memoranda, including legal issues raised by the client's situation, legal rules governing the situation, and how the rules apply to the situation. Draft memoranda; legal research; prepare cases by gathering evidence; attend depositions, court hearings, conference calls, and client meetings; consult with experts; and coordinate with outside counsel.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification Requirements: A Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school. 3+ years of litigation or paralegal experience. Must be a member of the State Bar of Arizona. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications : A Master’s degree (MA) or equivalent. 5+ years of litigation or paralegal experience.
