Analyst, Risk Management and Compliance The candidate: Coordinates and monitors insurance events, compiles and analyzes data on potential claims, reports claims to broker, and assists in claims recovery matters with broker, adjuster, insurer representatives, and internal clients. Performs compliance analysis on broker compliance. Monitors insurance broker's compliance with contract. Compiles data for, and assists broker in, renewal of various Authority policies. Assists Authority in renewal of broker agreement. Advises internal clients regarding insurance contract features including limits, requirements, exclusions and other coverage matters. Ensures Authority compliance with reporting responsibility to external agencies regarding claims and settlement data. Assists with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and investigation functions by compiling documents and data, and preparing and issuing responses to public records requests. Requests for documents related to confidential investigations. Reviews and redacts or withholds documents pursuant to exceptions or privileges. Collects, compiles, and preserves documents, video, and other requested materials that have been requested or ordered to be preserved in connection with an Authority incident or function. Assists attorneys or FOIA officers in compliance with orders and requests to preserve evidence. And performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, or a related field, 3+ years of experience in business analysis or risk management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Law degree or other advanced degree may be substituted for some or all work experience is essential.
