ProfileSenior Regulatory Compliance Analyst Responsibilities: Researches and remains current on federal, regional, state and other requirements. Assists in the planning, development and implementation of the FERC compliance, including SOC, EQR and formula rate filings, audit preparations and implementation, and other regulatory requirements/filings. Coordinates collaboratively with personnel in other departments to meet compliance standards and timelines. Interacts with internal stakeholders, regulators and other industry participants in a positive and responsible manner that reflects well on the department and PSE. Works cooperatively with staff from other departments to communicate pending or upcoming regulatory requirements and reviews information to meet compliance needs. Can gather information from multiple sources to gain a thorough understanding of issues; develops appropriate response and feedback. Disseminates timely communication on all related compliance matters. Responds in a timely and thorough manner. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree strongly desired. 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to work well with others. Strong organizational, project management, analytical and communication skills including ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and form positive, productive peer relationships. Demonstrated ability to learn, assist in the development of and apply new and upgraded computerized systems to job responsibilities, including use of software tracking mechanism for compliance issues, word-processing, spreadsheets and presentation programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint. DESIRED: Compliance and/or FERC related experience in utility sector. 2 years of broad utility experience or compliance experience in other regulated industry. Understanding of federal, regional and state rules and regulations. Excellent project management, regulatory analysis and communication skills.
