Capital Procurement/Project Procurement Duties: Lead the sourcing process for all major capital projects (>$5M, total installed cost) at firms manufacturing sites in the continental United States and Puerto Rico to acquire goods and services ($50 - $200MM annually). Review of requirements, development of sourcing strategies, management of the supplier due diligence process, oversight of the RFP process, contract negotiation and award, and oversight of the contract management process. Provide oversight to maximize the value of local capital projects ( Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business related field International procurement experience. CPM Certification. An advanced degree in Business, Law, or Technology fields is desired. Bachelors degree with 10+ years of experience in capital project procurement, capital project delivery including oversight of procurement, or implementation of strategic sourcing projects. Previous experience working directly for or with the suppliers of automation, commissioning/qualification, construction, engineering, and/or engineered equipment. Advanced contracting skills with a demonstrated understanding of the principles and elements of the contracting process from strategy development through solicitation/evaluation to award. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Prior experience in capital procurement in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior experience in the delivery of biotechnology projects. Prior work experience either for Lilly or through its principle design partners.
