Compliance Manager, Field Services Duties: Reports to Senior Counsel, Compliance and directly supports the Property Preservation and Inspection business, situated in the Mortgage Services business segment. Understand, track and ensure compliance with all federal, state and local, code compliance rules, ordinances, regulations, GSE guidelines and client requirements. Maintain and advise operations on the preservation requirements of government agencies and regulators relating to Real Estate Owned assets. Test and monitor the business unit’s adherence to the requirements mandated by customers or adopted by our operations team. Provide guidance to the operations team on maintaining compliant business practices. Perform reporting to business segment executives on the compliance performance of the business unit. Develop and operationalize compliance policies and procedures. Provide guidance and approval of forms, templates, and documents as well as key policies, processes and procedures. Establish a foundation for continuous improvement, incorporating internal, external and client feedback. Integrate compliance monitoring activities with the process framework established through Operational Excellence activities.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: A four-year degree from an accredited college is required. J.D. degree highly preferred. 5 years' experience working in a similar capacity, and a demonstrated ability to organize research, and establish and implement procedures consistent with published guidelines. Strong process orientation and good analytical skills. Process improvement experience, Lean or Six Sigma experience is desired. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility as well as the ability multi-task and work effectively with global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
