Director, U.S. Exam Management and Licensing The candidate will provide seasoned leadership and judgment in driving the activities of Global Compliance & Ethic’s licensing and exam management teams, which are material to our business for regulatory engagement. Reports to the Senior Director for U.S. Regulatory Relations and Exam Management, and will have responsibility for the U.S. licensing and regulatory examination programs. Manage key relationships with business leadership, and other external stakeholders including U.S. regulators. Serve as a credible business partner to executives and other high level internal stakeholders. Lead the U.S. licensing and regulatory examination programs. Manage U.S. licensing and regulatory examination teams Manage regulatory interaction for examinations and liaise with regulators through all phases of the exam process. Execute against the requirements of the global compliance program. Support management and operations with problem solving on licensing and regulatory exam issues. Handle licensing and exam escalations. Manage examinations and licensing function reporting for management distribution. Oversee SharePoint site repository Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. JD Degree or 12+ years compliance experience in the financial services industry, with financial services reporting experience and/or regulatory examination management experience preferred. Proven ability to communicate, collaborate and manage relationships with high-level internal and external stakeholders. Proven track record of effective communication with regulatory agencies. Leadership and judgment to analyze, evaluate, develop and effectuate solutions to complex problems. Team player with creativity, resourcefulness, a passion for problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, and interpersonal acumen. Strong reputation for integrity and ability to balance business partnership with the need to exercise independent judgment and to raise issues in a timely and constructive manner. Ability to think strategically while maintaining excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Program and people management experience with proven ability to lead a team managing diverse regulatory functions. High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, rapid growth environment.
