In-house Counsel - Compliance and Ethics The candidate will design, develop, implement and monitor company's federal compliance and ethics program. Lead development, ensure the currency, and advise on the Code of Business Ethics, Standards of Federal Business Ethics and Conduct, and related materials including associated training, policies, and communication to be provided to company personnel and business intermediaries retained by the company. J.D. degree and active Bar membership required. Must have 5 years of federal compliance experience in a law firm and/or as in-house counsel for a large corporate legal department. Should also have experience applying and interpreting US federal regulations (e.g. FAR, DFARS, and other applicable law) in the context of a large federal business. Solid understanding and appreciation of US regulatory compliance issues (e.g., anticorruption, data privacy, procurement integrity, mandatory disclosure, competition law and of contractual issues (e.g., indemnification, limitation of liability, personnel issues, data privacy, export compliance, etc.) as they apply to government transactions is required. In-depth knowledge of government compliance and procurement issues is needed.
