Government Contracts Attorney Duties: Provides legal counsel on Government contracts, including transactional matters, as well as a variety of Government contract-related subjects. Provides counsel on contract formation, administration, and termination for various acquisitions and performs legal research, conducts analyses, and prepares legal opinions on novel and complex legal issues. Negotiates the terms of and drafts procurement and contract documents involving various government/corporate professional and related services solicitations, ensuring conformity with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Drafts and reviews proposed policies, rules, and regulations.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: JD Degree with excellent academic credentials. Member of the California Bar in good standing. 4-8 years experience with broad government contracts (law firm, corporate, or government). A deep knowledge of government contracting and bid-protest processes, the markets and industries in which our clients operate, and the state and federal agencies to which they provide products and services., superior writing ability, maturity and good communication skills.
