Global Financial Crimes: Policies, Procedures & Training Vice President Responsibilities: Supervise a team of Policies, Procedures, and Training professionals that are responsible for: tracking and uploading of attendance records for Global Financial Crimes-related trainings according to internal Global Financial Crimes procedures. Maintenance of the Global Financial Crimes procedures database. Maintenance of the Global Financial Crimes Intranet pages. Maintenance of the External Training Tracker, which details professional development participation for Global Financial Crimes officers. Assisting with the Global Financial Crimes Compliance Notice process. Assisting with updating of training modules on the Global Financial Crimes Training Bank. Compile and coordinate the dissemination of the monthly Financial Crimes newsletter. Work with members of the Global Financial Crimes team to collect regular metrics on Policies and Training, including information necessary to update the Annual Plan documents on Policies and Training. Coordinate with members of the Global Compliance department on Firm-wide policies and procedures issues, such as the creation of templates. Address special projects identified by the Global Head of Policies, Procedures, and Training and the Global Head of Financial Crimes Core Functions.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 4 year college degree with strong academic credentials. Law degree or prior compliance experience drafting materials that involve an understanding of legal requirements considered a plus. Certification as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist by ACAMS or equivalent AML certification/license – or certification within first 15 months of employment. Experience with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering Regulations within the financial services industry, or at a financial services regulator (e.g., Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Reserve Bank, Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) and strong analytical skills. Experience improving an existing process and/or executing strategic projects. Professional experience at a large financial institution and/or in a policies-related or writing-heavy role or in a training role at a large professional services firm. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues across regions and business units. Facility with technology/learning new software.
