Tax Manager -- Supply Chain Planning Duties: Work directly with supply chain personnel to identify tax efficient supply chain strategies. Evaluate tax implications of supply chain alternatives through financial modeling, including the tax implications of proposed production-related capital expenditures. Educate management and key stakeholders regarding the tax impact of supply chain decisions. Influence the company’s supply chain priorities. Manage multiple supply chain issues and opportunities across countries, divisions, geographic areas, business groups, and staff functions. Lead and develop supply chain teams and initiatives. Develop innovative solutions to achieve supply chain initiatives. Respond to supply chain tax-related questions from all levels of company personnel. Team with other tax department personnel and/or company personnel as needed for special projects. Analyze and explain the after-tax differences between statutory reporting and management reporting to ensure alignment between corporate metrics and the company’s supply chain objectives.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university. 7+ years of experience with any combination of the following: income tax or finance experience in a public accounting firm and/or large, multi-entity corporate tax or finance department. Experience in financial modeling. CPA, CFA, MBA or JD Degree certification. Supply chain experience and knowledge base. Experience with transfer pricing strategy. Experience with indirect taxes and customs. Ability to communicate tax concepts to an audience with limited tax knowledge. Demonstrated strategic leadership and project management. Willingness to take on projects outside of core function. Strong communication and persuasion skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and navigate fluid timelines and goals. Demonstrated ability to think “outside the box†and find alternative paths to reach objectives. Proficient in use of Microsoft Applications. Proficient in use of SAP.
