EAC Compliance Manager - Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption / Corporate Political Law Duties: Provide strategic and regulatory advice to the Public Policy team on lobbying regulation and election law including support of Political Action Committee (PAC) activities and corporate political events. Manage the company’s lobbying compliance program. Review PAC contributions and corporate ballot initiative contributions. Work closely with the Market Presidents and Office of Public Policy on goodwill initiatives throughout the United States. Advise on information barrier considerations relating to PAC (Public Policy/Market President) activity and employees covered under MSRB, SEC, and CFTC pay-to-play rules, including controls relating to the sharing of information about political contributions and/or governmental procurement activities. Coordinate ABAC-related responses to RFP certifications, and work with related business partners to manage response process. Provide subject matter expertise on internal audit and testing activities, lobbying-related investigations, and government inquiries and examinations. Conduct political contributions surveys. Primary business owner for technology used to support compliance with political contribution rules. Primary Subject Matter Expert for procurement lobbying and governmental G&E.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Strong academic credentials and law degree. 7+ years of law firm, financial services in-house, and/or government legal experience with an emphasis on political law and compliance, extensive familiarity with pay-to-play laws, including MSRB Rule G-37. Experience supporting large commercial/investment bank holding companies in these areas. Experience leading policy initiatives for clients, and crafting strategies to achieve compliance, public policy and/or legislative goals of clients. Strong legal research skills. Substantive knowledge, experience and expertise in election law and lobbying regulatory matters. Excellent business and legal judgment, communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills: Proven ability to communicate professionally and work with all levels of management and across organizations and interact with regulators. Ability to work independently, drive for results and prioritize competing priorities in a deadline driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
