Global Surveillance Calibration and Validation Program Analyst The candidate working closely with the business, compliance professionals ensure that risk based programme is both globally effective and locally anchored to our key divisional businesses. Manage compliance risk and deepen the culture of compliance at Deutsche Bank through the development and management of strategies that are sustainable and increases the trust of clients. Will be responsible for working with the regional SCV program analysts in coordinating global SCV program initiatives, updating / communicating associated policies, procedures and controls and recommending improvements to the process or solutions to identified challenges. The position will report to the Jacksonville Head of Surveillance and the Regional Lead for Surveillance Calibration and Validation. Actively conduct calibration an validation reviews of priority alert scenarios. Routinely review existing processes / procedures and provide input / recommendations for enhancing processes and come up with strategic solutions for calibrating & validating global surveillance alert scenarios. Work with the broader surveillance team to help build, surveillance tools, beta test, and implement new alerts. Working closely with the business to develop pragmatic solutions/opportunities while remaining cognizant of regulatory rules, obligations and expectations. Promote continuous business analysis by interpreting relevant industry regulations and bank’s Compliance policies to ensure controls are appropriately implemented and monitored for compliance. Continuously monitor process stability and escalate to senior management any current or future risks. Act as a key member of the SCV team, regularly and effectively interface with local Compliance officers, business staff, IT, regional stakeholders and vendors to improve / upgrade existing processes and systems. Developing, implementing and conducting alert scenario calibration and validations. Updating Key Operating Procedures. Develop SCV program MI / Metrics for senior executives.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have University degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting or Economics. Relevant post graduate degree (e.g. MBA, J.D., Computer Science degree) a plus. Must have 5 + years of experience in the industry or relevant work experience in a comparable organization, exchange or regulatory institution. Should have understanding of, and interest in, securities and banking laws, financial markets/ regulatory environment. Must have experience drafting business requirements, functional specifications, conducting data analysis and creating test cases for UAT testing. Should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably another European language. Ability: Ability to clearly document results and recommend improvements to key stakeholders. Ability to effectively work with a variety of stakeholders from different backgrounds and across different jurisdictions. Able to project and people manage and ensure issues are resolved effectively. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Able to influence decision making and practical implementation of regulatory strategies and practices.
