ProfileGrandparent/Kinship Caregiver Attorney The candidate will be supervised by the Pro Bono Director. Assisting with the day to day operations of the Project and volunteer recruitment and training, as well as developing materials to promote the project. Participate as co-counsel in cases handled by staff in the Project and other legal aid offices when her or his expertise is needed.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree from an accredited law school, with 3 years of relevant legal experience preferred, possess excellent legal writing skills and demonstrate a solid work ethic. A Georgia bar license or eligibility for the next exam is required. Commitment to public service, participation in law school clinics, pro bono projects, familiarity with areas of poverty law, and previous work with low-income persons is strongly preferred.
