Staff Attorney The candidate’s service area also includes the Cherokee Indian Reservation, which has its own court system that has some similarities of law and procedure to the N.C. state courts, and, a significant number of differences as well. The attorney will have a practice which is primarily family law oriented both within Cherokee and the state courts. This is an opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing an Indian law practice and also has an interest in family law matters. Primarily handle domestic violence matters, landlord-tenant issues, and other LANC priority matters. State Bar license required.
