Staff Attorney The candidate will be part of the Consortium of Immigrant Children, a collaborative comprised of non-profit organizations, law schools, and the private sector, with a mission to increase the number of pro bono attorneys available to represent undocumented immigrant children. Will be responsible for representing immigrant children crime victims in Cumberland and Salem counties in applications for immigration relief, including possible appearances before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and New Jersey Family Court.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Must be licensed attorneys admitted to the Bar of any state. 1 year of experience in immigration law, experience working with children or crime victims, excellent oral and written communication skills, and bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish). Schedule: up to 20 hrs/wk Deadline: April 15, 2016
