General Practice Lawyer/Solicitor Duties: Assists senior lawyers to provide a range of services across a number of areas of the law, including: Commercial (General), Family Law, Immigration, Property. Actively develop and manage client relationships; Prepare applications, witness statements and other types of court documents; Conducting legal research; Handling legal documents, file administration and assisting in general carriage of cases; and Drafting advice to clients.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must be an Australian Lawyer who is keen to gain international experience and is happy to work in Shanghai or Beijing. Currently holding a Practicing Certificate is a must. Mandarin speaking is essential. Must be able to demonstrate the following: Proficient Chinese to allow business communication at minimum; Post-admission experience in conveyancing, family law or immigration is an advantage; Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with sound attention to details; Outstanding time management skills and ability to handle pressure; Experience and ability to develop strong client relationships.
