Estate Planning is one of our largest and busiest practice areas and we currently seek to replace a highly valued associate who is relocating out of the area. For more information on our firm, please see our website. Our office culture is very professional but not stuffy, and our work style is casual even as we work diligently, with the highest ethical and professional standards on behalf of our clients. Our firm acknowledges the personal lives and needs of all our attorneys and staff by supporting reasonable billable hours expectations. We look for excellent analytical, research and writing skills as well as solid interpersonal skills and good judgment. Qualified candidates to join our estate planning group should have 3-8 years of relevant experience. Our diverse practice integrates estate planning, commercial real estate, corporate transactions, and business and tax advice. Our ideal new team member will have sufficient experience to work independently, but will be able to help us serve our existing clients. Experience in sophisticated estate planning and administration are an absolute must; additional experience and interest in real estate, business transactions and tax are huge plusses. Our ideal new colleague: Will be intuitive and a great listener Is able to communicate complex issues to clients, orally and in writing Has demonstrated ability to attract and retain clients, but has time to service existing firm clients Attends to the details, but keeps her/his eye on the big picture Enjoys a challenging variety, and is looking for an opportunity for growth Wants to be a valued member of a supportive and cooperative team. If you are committed to working hard, learning from experienced mentors and delivering high quality legal services in the context of reasonable billable hours expectations, while receiving fair compensation, good benefits and a collegial, respectful office environment, we encourage you to apply. If you have the requisite experience and interest, please send your resume and a cover letter describing your professional goals. A writing sample is also appreciated. The starting salary for this position will depend upon experience. We offer medical, dental, vision, LTD/life insurance and 40lK.
