Honolulu office of our client seeks estate planning attorney with 3-5 years of experience practicing law in a solo practice, law firm, government or corporate legal department. The candidate will maintain a practice with an emphasis on client consultations, drafting estate planning documents and managing estate administrations. Will have direct client files and supervise substantive legal work of paralegals, legal assistants, and clerical staff members. Develop, draft, and review trusts, wills, and other legal documents and coordinate completion of legal matters. Meet with existing and prospective clients to identify areas of need, and implement effectively tailored estate planning strategies. Present legal concepts through educational seminars and workshops on related legal topics. Research and interpret applicable statutes, rules, and regulations involving trusts, probate, and Medicaid eligibility as necessary. Experience of drafting estate planning documents is a plus. Public speaking skills are desirable, as is comfort with widespread client contact.
