ProfileSenior Counsel - Regulatory Affairs and EHS The candidate will act as the Product Regulatory Counsel for company. Will perform risk analysis and due diligence related to regulatory compliance risks. In addition, will train and educate management on regulations, regulatory trends and compliance program effectiveness. Act as Product Regulatory Counsel for GEA. Support company’s position on regulatory matters before federal and state agencies and with third parties. Partner with Technology, Product Management, Supply Chain, Sourcing, and other functions to drive company's regulatory agenda. Provide creative solutions to regulatory risk areas and issues of concern. Support development and implementation of public policy and government relations strategies, goals and projects. Provide legal guidance and support to EHS function, including with respect to permitting, investigations, government inquiries, and similar matters. Relocation provided. Should have Juris Doctorate (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university. Must have 10 years of experience: Minimum experience, broad knowledge of regulatory processes and product related regulations, including product content, performance and manufacturing. Should have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Experience in EHS is preferred.
