Experts in Analysis of Stakeholders in Mining in Armenia Duties: Identify and review Armenia’s policy, legislative, and institutional framework on mining. Policy and Legislative Review including, existing or planned policy statements, documents, strategies, action plans on the mining sector; International commitments (International conventions, treaties, protocols, agreements); National legislation framework regulating the extractive industry (including extractive industry legislation, impact on environment, socioeconomic issues and cultural heritage); Review of institutional framework; State institutions and mandates; Inter-sectorial cooperation; Capacity of relevant state authorities; Past and ongoing reform initiatives.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Advanced degree in law, policy, and/or related fields. Knowledge of mining related institutional and legislative framework in Armenia. 3 -5 years of experience in the relevant fields. Experience in development of legislative and institutional analyses reports. An extensive experience in legal and policy research. Ability to plan and manage tasks independently.
