Senior Product Developer, US Legal Print & Advanced Media Duties: Supporting development of ProView product enhancements, including advocating for development and priority of US Legal-driven application enhancements with the global platform team. Assisting in the preparation of business cases for new features and content, including gathering and analyzing development cost estimates and projected revenue. Participating in or leading cross-functional teams developing new content, features and enhancements, including interacting with offshore team members. Writing effective business requirements and comprehensive acceptance criteria for product enhancements. Making presentations on new features and enhancements to internal and external audiences. Monitoring and managing ProView development and maintenance tasks and providing regular status updates. Maintaining product and process documentation. Tracking and reporting project-tracking and customer usage metrics. Tracking and triaging product issues. Gathering and tracking customer feedback, including market research. Assisting with product demonstrations and customer on-boarding.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 4-year college degree required. JD Degree preferred. Product development and/or product management experience. Knowledge of ProView, Westlaw and other electronic legal information resources a plus. Ability to lead and work in cross-functional teams, including programmers, marketing, finance and content operations. Familiarity with agile development and TFS system a plus. Strong project management, analytical and prioritization skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to drive direct and indirect teams to execute product development and strategy. Ability to effectively present product requirements and drive development from concept through final production. Ability to interact with, and build consensus among, cross-functional teams (e.g., ProView Technology, Editorial & Content Technology, Product Marketing).
