Energy, Environmental and Resources Associate The candidate will be responsible for advising and representing companies before regulatory commissions, RTOs and in federal courts of appeal and a variety of other regulatory matters. Admission to the Virginia, Maryland or District of Columbia Bars is preferred. Should have 2-4 years of experience. Interested candidate should have practicing before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and state regulatory commissions are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should possess a solid FERC regulatory foundation, including experience with energy and capacity market structures and issues including participation of demand response in wholesale markets and market based rate. Should have a keen interest in energy and commodity regulation and policy. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to draft persuasive pleadings. Strong negotiation skills and legal analytical ability is essential and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
