Junior Environmental & Energy Attorney The candidate must have: Excellent academic credentials are required; top law school or environmental law program; law review experience preferred. Currently licensed to practice law in California and located in San Francisco are preferred. Substantive experience with any of the following statutes or federal agencies: FIFRA, NEPA, CEQA, ESA, CESA, BGEPA, MBTA, FLPMA, CWA, SDWA, CAA, TSCA, CERCLA, RCRA, EPCRA, California’s Proposition 65, California plann ing and zoning laws, and laws administered by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Federal Energy Commission or the U.S. Department of the Interior. 1 - 2 years’ experience for our offices. Preferred candidate has a strong interest in environmental, product compliance, land use and/or renewable energy law. Should be sharp thinkers, creative problem solvers, and have good judgment. Efficient and effective in performing legal research and able to produce superior written work product, whether formal briefs or distilled , practical advice for clients in the form of an email or table.
