EEO Lawyer Duties: Contribute to Bureau’s mission by serving as an authoritative expert, providing strategic direction while advising senior leadership on the Bureau’s EEO policies and programs. Will contribute to building a fair, inclusive and equitable working environment by helping to manage complaint activity including counseling, investigations, and reporting. Additionally, will help us build processes and programs for the EEO office by keeping abreast of EEO and diversity trends in both the private and public sector, ensuring Bureau’s compliance with laws and regulations, and keeping us up-to-date with best practices. Further, will collaborate with the Office of Women and Minority Inclusion as well as the Office of Human Capital and other internal stakeholders to analyze workforce data, identify EEO barriers, and provide appropriate training for the workforce.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Should have 1+ year of experience at the GS-13 level or higher prior to retirement. Should have experience directly with EEO law and regulations, including working directly within an organization’s EEO office. Must have a broad base of experience directing projects and leading teams. Must possess a relentless commitment to professional and organizational excellence and an interest in working in a start-up environment.
