Senior Employment Attorney The candidate will build and implement scalable, world-class employment policies, programs, and systems that balance legal risk with business impact; Provide subject matter expertise and training on a broad range of employment issues, including recruiting, hiring, OFCCP compliance, compensation, wage & hour, contingent workers, HR practices, performance management, organizational transformation, and terminations; Proactively identify, assess, and manage employment law risk, and offer practical, creative solutions to business partners in the U.S. and abroad; Work closely with the company’s Global Talent Organization to manage and support HR compliance, employee escalations, internal investigations, audits, pre-dispute conflicts, and employment law claims; Oversee and coordinate the work of outside counsel to ensure that internal partners receive effective, business-focused employment law support. Draft complex legal documents, proactively identify and analyze complex issues, present pragmatic/creative legal and business solutions on a timely basis, negotiate and counsel clients.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have JD or LLM degree from an ABA accredited law school.6+ years of experience primarily in employment law, with a solid understanding of all aspects of employment law including wage & hour and fair employment laws (including Title VII, FMLA, ADA/FEHA, OFCCP, and FLSA). Admission to the California Bar.
