Assistant Attorney General The candidate will primarily practice workers’ compensation defense for claims filed by state employees and will also defend the State of Missouri's Second Injury Fund. Will be interacting frequently with the state risk-management agency for workers’ compensation, conducting and defending expert witness and party depositions, conducting hearings before different administrative law judges, mediating and otherwise resolving claims by settlement, and prosecuting and defending appeals before the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission and the state's appellate courts. Should preferably be graduated in the top 30% of their law school class and who have 2+ years of experience in the practice of law.
