Profile

Diversity Compliance Manager The candidate manages diversity compliance activities in a specific country or region including compliance with all applicable legislative requirements as well as company specific policies and standards. Leads compliance review activities with internal business partners and external agencies. Collaborates with appropriate resources to maintain and improve diversity compliance programs. Leads initiatives to identify and implement improvements in systems and reporting to ensure efficient and effective compliance management and reporting. Maintains a strong understanding of the latest diversity compliance requirements and trends. Educates others on the team and across the company on diversity compliance trends, issues and new legislation; coaches and mentors human resource generalists on diversity compliance issues and topics. Collaborates with line human resources and other stakeholders to ensure consistent compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Champions an inclusive work environment; demonstrates inclusive behaviors through actions and communications. Coaches and mentors diversity compliance specialists; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports. Manage diversity compliance activities for US, including the infrastructure and oversight of 40+ Affirmative Action Programs (AAPs) and multiple US Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) compliance reviews. Supervise Diversity Compliance Specialist – Senior (US). Review and interpret new and pending laws and regulations which potentially affect our US business practices; coordinate the development or revision of policies and procedures to ensure compliance; and communicate changes to impacted areas of the organization. Lead or conduct cohort and regression analyses of compensation at the direction of counsel. Prepare ad hoc impact ratio analyses of employment selections as needed and partner with Human Resources to investigate any preliminary indications of adverse impact. Manage acquisition and integration of 12 new subsidiary companies, including EEO-1/VETS-100A reporting and an additional 40+ AAPs over the next 2-3+ years. Works through the entire recruitment process with a team. Understands and applies knowledge of legal regulations affecting recruitment and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Consistently applies effective interview styles and hiring methodologies for roles at all levels of the organization.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Human Resources or equivalent. MBA and/or J.D. preferred. SPHR/PHR or EEAC certification in EEO compliance is preferred. Must have significant experience leading compliance review activities with internal business partners and external agencies, including anticipating potential audit inquiries, investigating and alleviating or resolving any compliance concerns. Should have 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in exempt-level (professional) human resources roles Should have significant experience in written and verbal communication and should be capable of communicating effectively to all levels within and outside the company. Should have experience making appropriate decisions and consultation with an expert in the field. Should experience with representing the organization to external sources. Establishes and maintains working relationships with external sources. Must have experience training, coaching and developing others on implementing and administering policies, procedures and tools related to diversity in the workplace. Should have an advanced understanding of analytical methodologies and the ability to utilize various statistical methodologies. Provides recommendations for business actions based on the conclusions drawn from analysis in a way that is meaningful to the business partner. Should have proven track record managing multiple Affirmative Action Programs (AAPs) and US Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) compliance reviews required, preferably in a large corporate environment. Must have superior knowledge of US employment law, EEO/AA regulations and compliance policies, practices, processes, systems and internal controls. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong negotiating and consulting skills. Must have strategic thinking, strong leadership, and relationship management skills. Should have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and work under multiple deadlines. Excellent analytical and project management skills and ability to conduct a statistical analysis with solid recommendations are needed. In-depth knowledge and understanding of all human resources functions/areas, especially employee and labor relations, employment, compensation and benefits, and human resources information systems (HRIS) and applicant tracking systems (ATS) are needed. Must have good understanding of employment laws that frequently impact the workplace. Must possesses basic knowledge of the immigration documentation process and requirements for employment of foreign nationals and the legal right to work. Should be able to perform data quality reviews and take corrective actions to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
