Employment Counsel The candidate ensures company compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies. Serves in working with HR Department, drafting bespoke employment contracts. Managing Company’s response to Tribunal Claims and relationship with Trade Unions. Participate in renegotiation of collective agreements. Assist HR with devising and delivering training courses. Advise colleagues in HR department and managers on legal issues such as TUPE, operation of disciplinary and grievance procedures and performance management. Gain an insight into the challenges faced within HR departments whilst acquiring knowledge of workings of the Oil and Gas Industry.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have full legal qualifications. Proven relevant experience in Employment Law or related legal background, preferably in the Energy Sector would be a distinct advantage. Experience with company pension schemes essential. Strong familiarity with business and cultural environment and customs within Europe needed. Excellent knowledge and understanding of Employment Law and related legal concepts essential. Bilingual a plus.
