Employment Attorney The candidate will have heavy drafting responsibility for employment and resignation agreements and related equity agreements and term sheets; review of employment, resignation and related agreements; manage consistent application of applicable terms on a global basis; improve existing employment related knowledge management processes, templates and training; coordinate with global employment professionals and tax team; other related projects as needed, which may include general firm legal matters; prepare equity related SEC filings (e.g. Section 16 filings)
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 2-4 years of relevant professional experience at a major law firm with a focus on employment; background in equity based awards preferred; attention to detail, strong time management, organizational skills and logical/analytical approach; knowledge of private equity or financial industry preferred; ability to manage multiple high-priority requests in a demanding, fast paced environment and to maintain complete confidentiality; ability to work effectively as part of a team and to manage external advisors; JD from an accredited Law School; active member of the District of Columbia bar; proficient with Microsoft Word; PowerPoint; Excel and Outlook
