ProfileEmployee Benefits Attorney The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in the employee benefits area, with the ability to analyze a wide variety of plans and benefit programs. The position can accommodate a Senior Associate, Partner, or Of Counsel title, as the candidate’s circumstances warrant. Knowledge of the tax code, ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA along with experience with a variety of benefit plans is a must. The preferred candidate is licensed to practice in NC, will have graduated in the top 20% of their law school class, and will have robust experience with defined benefit plans and/or ESOPs, but candidates without these preferred credentials will be considered.
