Vice President of Human Resources The candidate will be strategic partner supporting Pittsburgh’s largest cultural organization in recruiting, retaining, and developing talent and in maintaining a diverse, rewarding, and mission-centered workplace. Primary function: Developing and implementing human resource strategies, structures, and tools to support the organization’s strategic objectives; lead the human resource staff and direct the overall activity of the human resource department. Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of the human resources function, including employment, compensation, and employee relations and labor relations. Oversee the development, recommendation, and promotion of personnel policies and programs. Provide advice and guidance on the interpretation of personnel policies as they relate to individuals and organization objectives. Should have Bachelor level degree in law, business, organizational psychology, human resources management or related fields and ten or more years work experience with an emphasis on human resources management, strategic planning, and problem solving. Must have professional certification/s (PHR, SPHR, CEBS) or equivalent.
