Labor and Employment Associate The candidate will work on labor and employment due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations; draft and negotiate the employment provisions of purchase and sale agreements, merger agreements and other transaction-related documents; and draft and negotiate employment agreements, retention agreements, and separation agreements. Will advise on issues involving restrictive covenants, wage and hour matters, employee discipline and discharge, reductions in force, employment investigations, compliance with equal employment opportunity laws including disability and leave laws, the WARN Act, and the design and implementation of employment policies. Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Bar. Should have 3+ years of labor and employment experience. Knowledge of executive compensation law, including 280G and 409A, bonus plans, commission plans, and equity arrangements is desirable.
