Litigation - General (consumer)

Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment The candidate will provide counseling and support for human resources and recruiting organizations, as well as general employment law support. Provide advice and strategic support to HR Business Partners and business leaders on employee terminations, performance management, investigations, accommodations, reorganizations, agency charges, and other employment-related matters. Collaborate with other attorneys on the team with respect to all advice and counseling provided to HR and other cross-functional partners. Draft and edit employment related documents and processes. Manage pre-litigation and litigation matters.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have JD degree and membership in at least one state Bar. Membership in NY or CA state Bar preferred. Must have 8+ years of experience in labor and employment counseling and/or litigation. Experience with counseling on, or litigation related to, California and/or federal wage and hour laws required. Employment litigation experience and experience coordinating and driving projects to completion (including litigations). Familiarity with California employment law preferred.
