ProfileSenior Legal Counsel The candidate will provide legal services to other departments with the company. Will be part of the team of attorneys whose primary responsibility is to review and advise the company on matters related to labor and employment law and other legal issues common to a large international organization. Handle all labor claims or litigations. Review employment policies, procedures, workflows, etc. Conduct any legal researches related to employment law or labor law. Provide routine consultation regarding labor or employment law. Deliver trainings related to labor law compliance. The other matters designated by legal manager. Review SOW contracts for Independent Contractors to determine appropriate classifications. Review and coach on Employment matters with regard to layoffs and performance matters. Participate in AT as needed for employment law legal opinions. Master degree in law or JD required. 5-10 years working experience as labor experts including 3-5 years working experience as labor lawyer in California and possess California Bar required. Experience working in Hi-tech company or first class law firms preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to convey positions in a clear, concise, professional, and effective manner appropriate to the audience and circumstance required.
