Labor and Employment Attorney The candidate will report to the lead labor and employment lawyer. Will interact with the business leaders of company's various business segments and support functions. Work independently, with other Law Department team members, and with outside counsel on sophisticated and challenging legal matters. Provide day to day legal advice on a wide range of domestic and international labor and employment matters, with a particular emphasis on labor issues. Handle and manage investigations, external administrative matters and employment litigation. Manage outside counsel providing advice and representation to company on a broad range of employment and labor matters.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Law degree from an ABA accredited law school. Should preferably have 4-8 years of employment/labor experience at a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel. Experience with the aerospace/defense industry is a plus. Experience with international labor and employment issues is a plus. Should be a current active member of a State bar and have the ability to become licensed in the State of Kansas within 6 months.
