Principal HR Compliance The candidate will be responsible for building a program to enable the growing business while protecting the company from risk and ensuring consistency and compliance throughout the organization. Work across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC building strong partnerships with HR and the business to help them achieve program goals. Have a strong focus on partnerships with technical and systems teams to ensure compliance is inherently built into the processes. Build program charter, tenets, vision and 3-year strategic roadmap. Design and implement assessment strategies, conduct on-site and virtual compliance audits, draft audit reports detailing methodology, results, and remediation plans. Get close to our business and sales teams and incorporate compliance into their planning activities. Track regulatory changes with impacts to programs and policies—get and keep us ahead of the space. Develop policies and draft supporting documentation such as communications, FAQs, process documentation, and other related written work. Document and articulate business requirements to build compliance into our process and ultimately systems through technology. Oversee program implementation efforts; train employees on tools, programs, and policy. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree/MBA or law degree (JD) and 10+ years of compliance experience (Finance, Legal, HR, Business, etc.) Principal, AWS HR Compliance preferred. 5+ years of HR Compliance OR other specific compliance-related experience including 2+ years of experience working in a compliance role and/or audit role where documenting controls and effectiveness required. Experience developing direct reports required. MS Office proficiency required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
