Regional Labor Relations Executive The candidate will be a part of the Sales world – deliver value, quality and selling expertise to internal and external customers. Develop and maintain relationships with the leadership and staff of local and regional unions, Taft Hartley multiemployer funds and union-sponsored VEBA trusts as well as district and state councils and labor-management committees or similar organizations. The principal objectives for building and maintaining these relationships is to assist and support the company’s sales and account executives create, develop and close sales opportunities in multiple fields and industries in both the public and private sector, especially with Taft Hartley multiemployer funds and public sector retirement plans. Working closely with the company’s sales and account management staff to arrange and meet with local and regional union leaders and officials to assist the company’s new sales efforts and manage existing accounts Sensitizing sales and account management staff to labor groups’ objectives, needs and interests. Educating organized labor about the company’s programs. Assisting in formulation of effective and hopefully successful sales and account retention strategies and tactics. Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree. Master’s Degree in Business Administration, law, industrial and labor relations, health administration or other field desired. 7+ years of progressively responsible sales, account management, benefits consulting or fund administration experience managing and developing relationships with labor, health and welfare fund, or related business officials. Excellent oral, written and quantitative skills. Existing relationships and prior responsibility for working with labor leaders and officials in a defined territory is highly desirable. Prior sales training or training in negotiation skills is helpful. Knowledge of or experience with retiree medical, Medicare and Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D. Experience working with multiemployerTaft Hartley funds or other labor health and welfare trusts.
