Title IX Specialist Duties: Reporting to the Associate Dean and Chief Human Resources Officer/Title IX Coordinator, will support the work of the Law School’s Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Title IX Coordinators in implementing the School’s Title IX initiatives and managing related day-to-day operations. Will support ad hoc projects. Work with the HLS Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Coordinators to ensure compliance with applicable school and university Title IX policies, procedures, and practices. Maintain up to date knowledge of Title IX and related regulations and guidance. Maintain, organize and manage the Title IX database and assist with preparing regular reports on the number, nature and disposition of complaints. Track budget and expenses associated with the school Title IX program. Update and maintain relevant web pages on the HLS website. Assist with implementation, coordination and tracking of training programs, including some direct delivery of training to selected populations. Assist with investigations by facilitating scheduling, taking notes, organizing investigation files, and providing other support as needed. Provide administrative support for Title IX-related disciplinary hearings by managing and updating rosters of neutral adjudicators and qualified investigators; scheduling and managing the administration of hearings; and providing administrative support for hearing officers. Act as a liaison to various HLS Title IX-related committees by scheduling committee meetings, drafting and distributing minutes and maintaining appropriate records. Prepare regular reports on the school’s Title IX initiatives. Provide general administrative and clerical support for school Title IX initiatives. Conduct research as needed. Maintain appropriate confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. J.D. Degree preferred. Experience working in a higher education environment a plus. Knowledge of current state and federal laws and regulations relating to Title IX compliance desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Schedule: 17.5 hr/wk
