Assistant Director, Tech MBA and LLM Enrollment and Admissions Duties: Reporting to the Senior Director of Enrollment and Admissions, and with minimal supervision, works collaboratively with marketing and admissions colleagues at the Law School and the associate dean and faculty program directors to develop and execute recruitment and admissions for the Tech MBA program and Master of Laws in Law, Technology and Entrepreneurship. As a member of the Admissions Committee, will work with others to lead the process to evaluate applications, conduct interviews, and recommend admissions decisions. Responsible for providing insight and guidance on selection, scholarships and yield, as well as coordinating and assessing admissions criteria to develop an effective recruiting plan. Assists in the creation and implementation of marketing efforts via event planning, digital initiatives, information sessions and alumni engagement, intended to cultivate and matriculate the incoming class. Work in collaboration with the admissions team to coordinate recruitment MBA programs. Will be responsible for creating statistical reports, modeling and projecting application volume in collaboration with the Senior Director. Will be responsible for knowledge of the admission database system, data management and extraction for reporting.
Qualification and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate or professional degree strongly preferred. Exceptional candidates with a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of applicable professional work experience in data science, business, law, higher education or research administration may be considered. Experience with quantitative, market-based approach to planning recruitment activities and exceptional oral and written communication skills are necessary. Experience developing new tools for capturing and evaluating data, and ability to effectively communicate data analysis results to a diverse audience required. Strong organizational skills and follow-through as well as the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Should have a clear understanding of, or the ability to understand, higher education issues, and commitment to excellence and customer service. Evidence of strong interpersonal skills, preferably in the context of working with MBA and LLM student populations, is required. Excellent analytical and reporting skills, which includes demonstrated experience utilizing spreadsheets (MS Excel) and databases. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and multi-task in a high-paced team environment and meet deadlines. Requires the ability to work independently and take initiative. Ability to negotiate and advocate effectively and tactfully. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality and discretion. PREFERRED: Master’s degree in a relevant or related field; and/or additional work experience beyond 5+ year is preferred. Professional experience in the higher education and/or admissions and recruitment context, particularly in business, law or technical graduate programs, is strongly preferred but not required. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM preferred.
