ProfileDirector-Comm Future Legal Ed The candidate will oversee and lead the day-to-day operations of the Commission on the Future of Legal Education and provides substantive expertise and guidance to the Commission. Provide subject matter expert advice, counsel and support to the Commission on the Future of Legal Education and substantive, procedural, media and policy matters. Manage the development and implementation of multiple initiatives and projects, requiring substantive knowledge of issues related to innovation in legal education. Assist in the development of recommendations for activity priorities to be undertaken by the Commission. Prepare, manage and oversee Commission budget. Provide fundraising management. Provide leadership, coaching, counseling, feedback, performance appraisal and, where necessary, applies discipline to the Commission’s administrative assistant. Direct website development/maintenance for the Commission. Serve as point of contact for internal and external entities seeking to develop legal education-related innovations. Possession of a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and 5+ years of experience in program and policy development and project management required. Previous experience in assessing legal education-related innovations preferred. Experience in the conception, development and implementation of model programs and projects preferred. Fundraising experience preferred. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with the highest levels of staff and volunteers preferred.
