Senior Business Intake & Conflicts Analyst, Laterals The candidate will be responsible for processing, analyzing and determining existing or potential conflicts for all attorney lateral hires, paralegals and all other staff. Paralegal Certificate or completion of an ethics course in a paralegal program and/or prior experience as a paralegal in a law firm is preferred. JD Degree is strongly preferred. Must have knowledge of American Bar Association’s Model Rules of Professional Conduct and California State Bar Association’s Rules of Professional Conduct. Must have knowledge of conflicts and an overall understanding of a corporate law practice. Experience with complete conflicts resolution preferred. Must have 5+ years’ experience in a legal environment. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), good judgment with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, strong ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks, ability to take initiative on time sensitive issues while maintaining recognition of legal ethics rules, and the ability to work well independently with little or no supervision.
