Seeking an Employee Benefits Associate with 4-7 years of experience associate in the executive and compensation benefits department of a major US law firm. Transactional employee benefits experience is preferred, including experience with due diligence processes, employee benefits research and review of employee benefits provisions of transaction documents. Experience with executive compensation provisions of the Internal Revenue Code (e.g., 409A, 2800, 1 62(m) ~d 83), and California bar membership is preferred as well. High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience required. Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Bar.
